JOHN EVERETT SCHENCK was born June 12, 1935 in Mesquite,
TX and passed away Nov. 26, 1999. He was retired from
AT&T and the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a member of Garland
Lodge #441, the American Legion and the VFW.
Preceded in death by his father, John W. Schenck. At the
time of his death, he is survived by his son, Steve Schenck
of San Diego, CA; daughter Sheryl South and her husband Rick
of Emory, TX; mother, Elza Schenick of Seabrook, TX; brother,
Dale H. Schenck and his wife Lynn of Lubbock, TX; sister,
Lynne Billman and her husband Joe of Seabrook, TX; grandsons,
Christopher Schenck, Justin South, Derrick South & Jody South;
nieces, Connie Stanley and her husband Don of Fayetteville, AR,
Lea Wood and her husband Mike of Redondo Beach, CA, Lori Mann
and her husband Keith of Lubbock, TX, and Payton Holland of
Houston; aunt Mary Osman of Lebo, KS and many cousins in the
Lebo, KS area. Interment was in Ascension Gardens at Restland
Memorial Park in Richardson, TX.
