CHARLES A. "CHUCK" DENSON, 76, born Oct. 3, 1923 in
Palestine, passed away Sept. 6, 2000, in Dallas with
interment in LA.
At the time of his death, Charles was survived by his
wife of 54 years, Gloria; daughter, Martha and husband
John Meyers, as well as grandchildren, Johnothan and
Meredith. He is also survived by his sister, Jacqueline
and her husband Harry Sankey.
Charles served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and also
in the Korean War. He worked in Louisiana and Texas for
22 years in the television industry, then 17 years for
AT&T in Mesquite. He was a member of Roy Stanley Masonic
Lodge, Dallas Scottish Rites Bodies, Dallas York Rite
Bodies and Hella Shrine Temple. He was also a member
of the Disiland Band, Directors Stage Band and Nobles
of Note.
Chuck said "When things go wrong and questions arise in
your mind, don't think 'Why me Lord?' think 'why NOT me
Lord?' and do the best you can with what you have as long
as you can."
