IRENE BELL MONCRIEF, resident of Dallas from 1941. She
was born in Hallsville, TX on Oct. 18. 1923, died on
Nov. 24, 1998. She worked for 30 years for AT&T.
Interment was in Restland Memorial Park in Richardson,
TX.
At the time of her death, she is survived by daughters
and sons-in-law, Ilene & Steve Howard, Arlene & Danny
Rutledge, Ethel Moncrief, Bethel & Edward Joiner; 4
grandchildren, Kimberly Howard, Steven Howard, Samantha
Moncrief, and T.J. Joiner, sisters, Mahala Starr, Jean
Hamilton & husband, Bill; brother, W.L. Prewitt; several
nieces, nephews, and cousins.
