LEONOR "LEO" ZAMORA GOMEZ born May 18, 1935, died Nov. 29,
2001 after a year long battle with cancer. She retired from
AT&T in 1991.
She was survived by her husband of 47 years, Dan Gomez, of
Scurry, TX, son, Larry Gomez and wife, Debra of Scurry, TX,
daughter, Mary Ann Cates of Dallas, TX, brother, Lawrence
Zamora, Jr. of LA, CA, sisters, Mary Ann and husband, Joe
G. Gomez of Houston, TX, Mary Jessie Medellin of Grand
Prairie, TX, and Lupe Barry of Mansfield, TX, 8 grand-
children, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews
and many other loved ones and special friends.
Preceded in death by mother and father, Carlota and Lorenzo
Zamora, brother, Nanuel H. Zamora and two precious twin
sons, Dan Jr. and Carlos Gomez, mother & father-in-law,
Concha and Anselmo Gomez, brothers-in-law, Raymond Gomez
and Richard Medellin.
