TOMMIE J. "T.J." BOND was born Dec. 22, 1928 in Mulberry,
Texas and passed away on April 23, 2006 in Garland, TX,
with interment at Restland Cemetery in Dallas.
Tommie was a member of 1st Baptist Church in Sachse for 23
years and after retirement from AT&T, most of his time was
spent doing his hobbies which included woodworking, traveling,
and ministries at the church. He served in two branches of
the military, the Marines and the Army and was a member of
the Masonic Lodge AFAM441 of Garland.
Preceded in death by parents, Tommie D. Bond & Myrtle Parks
Bond; 2 brothers, Dwaune & Loyal Bond. Survived by wife, Lela
"Jo" Bond; daughters, Donna Horn & husband Bill, Kathy Stephens
& husband James, Jan Hazelip & husband Steve; grandchildren,
Shelly Baldwin, Matt Morrow, Jeff Moulder, Greg Moulder, Heath
Hazelip, and Halie Hazelip; great-grandchildren, Monica Baldwin,
Zachary Moulder, & Miranda Moulder; and several nieces & nephews.
