JACQUELYN MARTIN FOSTER died June 21, 2007 in Garland,
TX. She was born on Feb. 15, 1928 in Troup to the late
William Lewis and Mary Etta Hampton Martin. She retired
from AT&T Technologies and continued to live her life to
the fullest. She was a member of the Pacesetters Class
at Axe Memorial United Methodist Church, a longtime
volunteer at Baylor Medical Center of Garland, a member
of the Lady Elks where she enjoyed performing with the
"71 Steppers" dance group, and she was an avid bridge
player. In 1948, Jackie was named Miss Tyler by the
executives of Paramount Pictures in Hollywood. Jackie's
kindness, strength, and humor touched everyone around
her.
She is survived by her husband, Julian Foster, of Garland;
two daughters, Jeri Boring and her husband Michael of
Garland, and Nanci Stone Neynaber and her husband Andy
of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Kristen Cantrell
and her husband Justin, Staci Stone, Brandon Boring,
and Melissa Stone; a great-grandchild, Austin Cantrell;
and many cherished family members and friends.
