ARTHUR LAIRD STONE of Wills Point, TX, passed away on Aug. 12,
2009 at the age of 74, with burial in Edna, KS between his
parents.
He was born in Edna, KS to Edward and Eunice Miller Stone on
October 3, 1934. He retired from Western Electric after twenty-
five years, and worked for the Terrell Reserve Police Force and
also worked for Randall Noe as a parts runner. Mr. Stone lived
to work, provide for his family, and now has the job of being a
guardian angel for those he loved.
At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife of over 50
years, Wauneta Stone; daughter: Cindy Smith and husband Terry of
Irving, TX; son: Jeff Stone of Wills Point; brother: T.W. Stone
of Edna, KS; grandchildren: Steve Beheler, Rachel Smith, and
Justin Smith; great-grandchild: Paige Beheler; plus numerous other
friends and family. Mr. Stone was preceded in death by his parents
and sisters: Genevieve Walters & Marjorie Alloway.
