STANLEY L. GILLHAM, 69, of Wills Point, TX passed away on
March 24, 2010, at his residence, with interment at White Rose
Cemetery in Wills Point.
Stanley was born on September 12, 1940, in Seiling, OK, the
son of Stanley C. Gillham and Rosa E. Garriott Gillham. He was
raised in Seiling and Enid, Oklahoma. In 1958, he graduated from
Enid High School. He received his Associates Degree in Electronics
and his Bachelors Degree in Education from Oklahoma State University.
On August 17, 1963, he married Judith A. Brown in Enid. Stanley was
employed by AT&T for thirty years, retiring in 1995. He was a spur
maker for fifteen years and had played music his whole life. In
1991, he moved to Wills Point. Stanley was a member of the Terrell
Bible Church.
Stanley is survived by his wife, Judith A. Gillham, of Wills Point;
son, Jon Gillham, of Wills Point; two daughters, Stephanie Nau and
husband, Tom, of Roanoke, Virginia and Sherri Mull and husband,
Russell, of Germany; mother, Rosa Gillham, of Mesquite; two brothers,
Bill Gillham & wife, Pat, of Hamilton and Larry Gillham and wife,
Janice, of Elberton, Georgia; sister, Carol Cunningham & husband,
Bud, of Mesquite; two grandsons, Patrick Mull, of Germany & Philip
Mull, of Germany and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death
by his father, S.C. Gillham.
