CHUCK HANSON, age 63, passed from this life Oct. 22,
2010 at his home in Garland, TX, with his family by his
side.
Charles was born November 8, 1946 in Malta, Bowie County,
TX to D.L and Lorene (Sewell) Hanson. Charles served in
Vietnam while in the United States Air Force. He had
worked 32 years for Western Electric which became AT&T
and now Lucent Technology. Charles loved the outdoors
and enjoyed fishing and hunting and mostly enjoyed his
children and grandchildren.
At the time of his death, Charles was survived by his
wife of 20 years, Retha (Hawbaker) Hanson, children;
Terri Farmer and husband Jim, Deborah Arendale, Gwen
Turner, Paul Thorson and wife Misty and Richard Hanson
and Chasity, eleven grandchildren, brothers & sisters;
Lou Ann Rainey, Judy Martin, Richard Brower, Jan Rodgers,
Kay Neff, Ann Jackson, Alice Goldie, Mike Bigham and
Tommy Beasley.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother,
Jimmy Ray.
