HARRY CLAUDE PLOEHN, 81, passed from this life
to eternal life with the Lord on April 27, 2016,
with interment at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas,
TX.
Preceded in death by parents Harry Frederick Ploehn
& Viola (Hein) Ploehn; wife Patricia J. (Nesbitt)
Ploehn; and brother Gerald R. Ploehn.
Survived by wife Patricia S. (Wass) Ploehn; sister
Claudia E. (Ploehn) Stahl; sons and daughters-in-
law Dr. Harry J. Ploehn & Dr. Carolyn Bolton, Joseph
& Nidia Ploehn, and James & Erika Ploehn; grand-
children Allison, Crystal, Cathryn, Christopher,
Patricia, and William; and great-granddaughter
Chandler.
Born on March 31, 1935, in Jersey City, NJ; graduate
of Bogota (NJ) HS; a veteran of the US Navy (active
duty) and the US Coast Guard reserve; a graduate of
the Newark College of Engineering (BSEE) & SMU (MS);
retired from AT&T Technologies (formerly Western
Electric Co.) and AVO Training Institute; and a
loyal member and vice commander of American Legion
