Vivian Williams VIVIAN "RUTHIE" JONES WILLIAMS, beloved mother, grandmother and friend spread her wings at the age of 77 to reunite with her Savior. Vivian was born on Nov. 26, 1942 in Antlers, OK to Isaac & Elizabeth Jones. She graduated from Antlers High School. After moving to Greenville,TX, Vivian began working for Western Electric Co. Over time she relocated to Mesquite, TX where she currently resided. Vivian was a member at Dallas Indian Mission United Methodist Church, devoted member with the UMW, Silver Feathers & church treasurer for many years. She was a hard worker, if she wasn’t working, she was at grandkids' events or at church events. Rain or shine, she was there. She loved to crochet, watch true crime TV shows, drink coffee and was always down for an adventure/road trip. She was an OU Boomer Sooner fan from football to softball. She was well known for her ability to sing and her sassy, quick- witted sense of humor. She was known by most and loved by all. She truly was a grandma and friend to everyone she came in contact with. She is preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth and Isaac Jones, her husband David Williams, her 1st grand-son Cornell and many loved ones. Vivian is survived by her three children: Wahlella “Deann” Jones, Jesse Williams and his wife Dana, Harriet Williams. Her nine grandchildren: Jessica and her husband Lazaro, Devon and her spouse Kris, Amber, Emily, Christena, Jana, Haleigh, Kayla and Carl III “Bubba”. Her nine great-grand- children: David, Sophie, Garyn, Marie, Camdyn, Piper, Isaiah, Jadyn, and Allie. As well as 2 honorary great-grand kids Elijah and Lucas. Her four spoiled rotten pups: Diesel, Peanut, Juliet and Lola B. Jones. Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00PM Sunday, August 2, 2020 at the funeral home. Her funeral service will be 10:00AM Monday, August 3, 2020 at Jeter & Son Chapel and will be live-streamed on Jeter & Son Funeral Home's Facebook page. J.B. Jackson will officiate the ceremony.
