KENNETH TURNER, 77, of Mesquite, TX, passed away on
Dec. 25, 2020.
Kenneth was born on Sept. 8, 1943 in Dallas, TX to Hugh
M. Turner and Virginia (Jones) Turner. He spent his
childhood exploring the outdoors behind his parents’
house where he found his passion for nature. He proudly
served in the U.S. Air Force where he learned electrical
engineering. He later worked for Lucent as an electrical
engineer and retired after 33 years. Kenneth settled in
Mesquite and raised two sons with the love of his life,
Maria Elia Sanchez. He enjoyed spending his retirement
reading, watching football, playing games, and doing
puzzles.
Kenneth was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
His greatest passions in life were his wife, sons,
grandson, gardening, and the Dallas Cowboys. He will
be remembered for his patience, compassion, and wisdom.
He is preceded in death by his above-named parents and
brother Larry. He is survived by his wife Maria, sons
Greg and Damian, and grandson Andrew.
