BETTY JO DEARING JAY, 72, passed away Dec. 11,
2022 after a short illness in Dallas, TX, with
burial at Grove Hill Memorial Park.
Betty is survived by her husband of 32 years John
Jay, children Jon Dearing and his wife Carol,
Johnna Myers and Heather Powell and her husband
Kenny Powell.
Grandchildren Dale Lord, Jacob and Gaia Burden,
Lauren and Kevin Holmes, Isaak Myers, Jhett Myers
and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Gayland and
Dorothy Sisk, brothers Gayland and Butch Sisk &
sister Patricia Haskins and the recent passing
of her daughter Danielle Dearing.
Betty was retired from AT&T (Lucent) after a
career of more than 30 years in the manufacturing
industry. World traveler, Betty, during her stay
here, visited most capitals on our Planet!
For those of us closest to Betty, her passing
leaves a hole in our lives that is enormous. We
all became so dependent on her for such support
and love that we may never heal.
