SANTOS "SANDY" PEREZ CISNEROS LARA the Beloved
mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and
friend, went home to be with Jehovah on April 10,
2023 at the age of 83 years old.
She was born on March 22, 1940 in Del Valle, TX to
Isidora Reyes Perez & Sotero Sosa Perez. Santos is
a lifelong resident of Mesquite, TX and was a loyal
employee for over 25 years at Western Electric which
is now AT&T. Santos’ favorite place was at home,
gardening and loved colorful roses and a variety of
plants. She was very creative and enjoyed crocheting
and embroidering many pillowcases and table runners.
She loved to travel and enjoyed going on cruises and
loved watching cooking TV shows and DIY projects. She
also enjoyed listening and singing to her favorite
songs by Vicente Fernandez and Jenni Rivera. She also
loved to shop (alot) not only for herself but for
others.
Santos was a very giving and generous person who was
loved by all who met her. She will be remembered as
a loving, outspoken, hardworking, and strong woman.
Although she had 3 of her own children, she opened
her heart to a multitude of friends who called her
"Mom”. Santos was confident in her faith in Jehovah.
She will be greatly missed and will always be in our
hearts.
Santos is preceded in death by her parents, Isidora
& Sotero Perez; sisters, Maria Cervantes; Margareta
Vrla; brothers, Pedro Perez, Domingo Perez, Raymond
Perez.
Santos is survived by her husband of 40 years, Isidro
Rivera Lara; son, Daniel Gabriel Perez (Donna); son,
Mario Enrique Cisneros; daughter, Marisol Cisneros;
stepdaughter, Jessica Lara (Hugo); sisters, Alicia
Perez, Olivia Perez, Teresa Perez; brother, Paul
Perez; grandchildren, Crystal Morrissey, Marcos A.
Silva (Edna), Cody J. Cisneros, Josette M. Perez,
Demi Perez, Ana G. Cisneros-Morales (Jose), Britany
Martinez, Kevin Zenteno, Alan A. Zenteno; great-
grandchildren, Ivan & Hailey Silva, Sloane Morrissey,
Jose Morales Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews and
cousins.
