June 21, 2023, in the comfort of his home with his

He was born July 19, 1944, in Suffolk, England, during
WWII to a British ER nurse Vivian Seiler and a sergeant
in General Patton’s 3rd Army Ben Seiler. As a youth,
Mark served as an acolyte in the Episcopal Church in
Albuquerque, NM. He played football, wrestled, and ran

horses at UNM where he received a BBA in 1968 and an
MBA in 1969. In order to help pay for his college,

in highway construction, building steel towers atop
Sandi Crest Mountains, and delivering frozen chickens
in seven surrounding cities. He also was a teamsters
driver for ICS and accountant for a grocery chain, all
while his mom provided room and board.
Being from a 5-star military family, Mark volunteered
for Vietnam but unfortunately failed the physical due
to his bull and bareback riding. He started his career
at Sandia National Labs on a top-secret assignment
working on Operation Igloo White during the Vietnam
War, which has since been declassified. Mark then began
a career at AT&T Lucent Technologies in 1970 from which
he retired after 30 years.
On a blind date, while both were working at AT&T, Mark
met the love of his life Debbie Giles. They were married
in 1977 and shared 46 wonderful years. He was a caring
and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He
loved family vacations, hunting, fishing, and time spent
outdoors. For his grandchildren, he recorded on the Kindle
his memories entitled “Stories of the Mystique of Nature,
Animals, Hunting, and Life.” Mark believed in Jesus Christ
and in his teachings and was a member of Lake Pointe Church.
He was a source of encouragement and joy to those around
him, and his presence will be deeply missed.

daughter Kennedy Seiler, grandson Gunner Seiler, brother-
and sister-in-law Randy and Hope Giles.
