Juan Rivera JUAN CABALLERO RIVERA, 76, of Kaufman, TX went to be with the Lord on Nov. 12, 2022, with burial in the Kaufman Cemetery. Juan was born on Dec. 27, 1945, to Jesus & Consuelo Cabellero Rivera in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He settled in La Faria, TX when he was 7 years old as a migrant worker in the cotton fields. He started working in Kaufman at Falcon Steel in1964 when he moved to the Kaufman area. A great opportunity came his way to start working for Western Electric when it opened in 1969 and worked there until he retired in 2001 when it was known as Lucent Technology. In retirement, he owned several of his own businesses from furniture stores and selling rod irons from Canton to Forney. Juan married Maria Rincon & was happily married for 12 years. He enjoyed playing poker, hunting, fishing, shooting pool and cooking barbeque. Juan loved his family very much and did everything he could for them. He was a father figure to many of his family members. Juan was a beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother and Uncle. He has been a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Kaufman since he moved to Kaufman. His parents, Jesus and Consuelo, and brother Jamie Reynaldo Rivera preceded him in death. Those left to cherish his memory are children: Lupe Rivera, John Valdez Rivera and wife Angela, Lisa Rivera Corrales and husband David, Ellie Rivera and Mia Rincon Rivera; grandchildren: Madeline Noel Rivera, Rachel Lisa Rivera, Savannah Rivera, Marisella Rivera, David Joseph Corrales, Aaron Michael Corrales, Lupe Rivera, Jr., Ky Rivera, Lan Rivera, Mayra Rivera, Jeremiah Wade Medlin & Jakob T. Medlin; siblings: Rosalinda R. Brito, Fina Rivera, Jesse Rivera, Janie Rivera Florez, Maria R. Ramirez and Jose Manuel Rivera; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.
